Central place of the village, memory of a time when water supply was synonymous with conviviality!
It was in the 20th century that water was available in homes. Before, it was "the chore of water". Deeply drilled to reach the water table, built of rolled pebble and local limestone, this communal well supplied drinking water to the inhabitants (and the animals, thanks to the water troughs). It was also a meeting place for the inhabitants to exchange news....
