This is a Roman building from the 11th and 12th Centuries. The Collégiale is an important Comminges religious site with its cloister and chapter house, which was one of the cathedral chapters, the clerics, established by Bishop Bertrand.
Built in the 11th century and raised in the 12th century, the Collegiate Church houses a remarkable collection of Romanesque sculptures (capitals and bas-reliefs). You can also admire the three Aubusson tapestries dating from the middle of the 18th century, and the 17th-century organs with a Cavaillé-Coll instrument. The bell tower, built in the 19th century, has one of the finest carillonx in the Midi-Pyrénées region. Discover the cloister and chapter house (12th-13th centuries). Booklet available from the tourist office in French, English and Spanish. The collegiate church can be visited every day except when there is a scheduled office.
