On the road to the Col du Portet d'Aspet, in the Pyrenees, the gîte "Aux Plaisirs du Cagire" is the ideal place to find peace and serenity in the heart of a green setting, even in the middle of summer. In this Haut-Comminges region, in the heart of the GER valley, in SENGOUAGNET, near ASPET, you will discover this village house, on 2 levels, in a hamlet of around fifteen buildings. This character house (sleeps up to 5) offers every comfort and has been carefully renovated to delight nature lovers. Situated on the slopes of the Pic du Cagire in the hamlet of Laubague, the gîte is ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities (hiking, mountain biking, cycling, fishing, paragliding, skiing, snowshoeing, etc., some of which can be done directly from the gîte) or for visiting the many listed ...

An upper floor was built some forty years ago to make the house more comfortable, with 2 separate bedrooms and a shower room. We then completely renovated it to bring it up to current standards, only 6 years ago (electricity, plumbing, double glazing, etc.). The Main Room: A large 30 m² room covering the entire ground floor. This entire room has been renovated with all the beams exposed to retain the typical character of the local mountain house. A sitting area A sitting area La Chambre CAGIRE : This 13 m² room overlooks the small central alleyway of the hamlet. A 140 x 190 cm bed for 2 people, a wardrobe with hanging space to store lots of clothes, A decorative fireplace completes this room, An umbrella bed is available in the wardrobe for small children to sleep on (a second bed and a booster seat can be provided on request). An iron and ironing board are also available in the wardrobe. Each bed is supplied complete with : A duvet and its cover, 2 pillows per person and their covers and the bottom sheet. The PALOUMÈRE room: 12 m², at the top of the stairs, with an east-facing view towards the GER valley and the Paloumère peak. A 140 x 200 cm bed for 2 people, A 90 x 190 cm trundle bed for direct sleeping, plus an extra bed if required by pulling out a drawer, A wardrobe for storing your clothes. Gîte shower room and toilet: At the top of the staircase leading to the first floor, a room has been converted into a shower room and toilet. Outside areas : At the entrance to the hamlet, a public car park provides parking for vehicles and serves as a petanque area in the evenings for those who enjoy the game. As the hamlet of LAUBAGUE is at the end of a dead-end road, this car park is often used as a children's play area (badmiton rackets and petanque balls are available in the gîte cellar). Below the gîte, a private area has been laid to lawn. You have at your disposal Garden furniture with 6 chairs and parasol, A barbecue for grilling, A folding clothes line.
