Ker'n d'Oueil is a detached house located at an altitude of 1100 m in a small, quiet village typical of the Pyrenees, just a stone's throw from the ski resorts. This pretty house, renovated in 2019 and facing due south, will enable you to make the most of your stay in the mountains in an exceptional setting! Halfway between Bagnères-de-Luchon and the Peyragudes ski resort, this gîte is ideally located for enjoying the mountains in summer and winter alike. You can hike directly from the house in the Oueil valley, with its typical villages and unspoilt countryside. The views of the Pyrenean peaks are breathtaking; Thomas, a mountain guide, will be able to tell you all about them better than anyone! Luchon, 9km away, offers entertainment, shops and services (thermal baths, aqualudic centre, golf course, swimming lake, equestrian centre, etc.). Ker'n d'Oueil has 3 levels: Ground floor: entrance, kitchen with dining room, lounge (fireplace), WC with washbasin under the stairs. 1st floor: the landing leads to three bedrooms, each with a double bed (160x200cm). The blue and yellow bedrooms have a washbasin. Large shower room, WC. 2nd floor with sloping ceilings: the landing leads to 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed (160x200cm), a dormitory with 2x2 bunk beds (90x200cm), a shower room and WC. Gas central heating. Wifi internet connection. The Chemin de la Hount is used twice a day by flocks of sheep from November to May. You can park your car in the lane, or in the main street and car parks at the end of the village. We live in a house adjoining the gîte, so we'll be seeing each other during your stay. An outside area is reserved for you in front of the house with tables, chairs, parasol, deckchairs and a barbecue. The rest of the garden is shared, so you can discover our vegetable garden.
