A warm welcome! This superb 18th-century residence on the banks of the Arize is a haven of peace and tranquillity. You can stay here with your family or friends for a warm and relaxing break. Ideally located in the village, just 3 minutes' walk from the historic centre and 6 minutes' walk from shops with all amenities. The house is pleasant, light and spacious, with two very welcoming gardens, one with a view of the cathedral and the other with the swimming pool.

The accommodation In the garden, you may be lucky enough to spot the squirrels that live close to the house. The melodious songs of the different species of birds will delight you. On the ground floor: - Large entrance hall with coat rack, under-stair hangers and storage space. - Large room, kitchen opening onto dining room with open fireplace. Large windows and French doors overlooking wooded grounds and swimming pool. - Large lounge, TV area, library area and closed fireplace area. - Two bedrooms, the 1st with a double bed (140cm) and 2 single beds, washbasin, dressing room and study. The 2nd bedroom has a 180cm bed, dressing room and bay window with parkland views. - Bathroom, 2 basins, walk-in shower: Italian shower, jacuzzi bath. - WC and laundry room (washing machine/dryer, drying rack, iron). First floor: - Two bedrooms (overlooking wooded parkland and swimming pool), each with en-suite shower and washbasin. - The 1st bedroom has a double bed (140cm), chest of drawers, dressing table and dressing room. - 2nd bedroom: double bed (140cm), 2 single beds, dressing area, desk. - Mezzanine with bed 140, exposed beams with velux window overlooking the starry sky. - WC, washbasin. Access for travellers The whole house except the outbuildings which are closed. Other comments You can do everything on foot! The house is ideally situated in a peaceful setting, on the banks of the Arize, a tributary of the Garonne, which gives it all its charm and relaxed atmosphere. A number of footpaths start from the house and the historic centre. The house is a 3-minute walk from the historic centre, which boasts seven listed monuments, including Sainte Marie cathedral and its episcopal treasury. You can take a break at La Halle's traditional restaurant or just enjoy a drink. You can't visit the town without stopping off at the Papogay shooting museum, a traditional festival dating back to the 100-year war that brings the village to life every first weekend in May. Here you will find the Tourist Office. Just a few minutes' walk away, you'll find a bakery, a butcher's shop, a tobacconist's, a Proxi mini-market, a hairdresser, a florist and the Au Comptoir du Jeu bar (games area for 4-99 year-olds, drinks, snacks, theme evenings). On Sunday mornings, there's a farmers' market and a cash point.
