Nowadays, this noteworthy structure located in Saint-Gaudens city-centre is a “gourmet” covered market.
Bring the terroir and delicacies to your plates! Compose your basket of fresh seasonal products, sweets, homemade dishes and good crispy breads.

Gourmet and attractive market

Head to the Halle gourmande de Saint-Gaudens to fill our basket with fresh produce and cook up a seasonal meal!
This building of limestone has been emblematic of the city since its construction in 1843.
It is on entering that you discover its imposing frame surmounted by five gigantic Doric columns offering all the charm and conviviality to this covered market.
On Sundays during the summer season, the market is animated by summer concerts. It’s time to take a break while sipping a drink and enjoying the sweet treats from the chocolate stand!

A product, a story

As soon as we entered, we soaked up this atmosphere with local flavors. The hubbub of customers and artisans animates the hall. The colorful and stocked stalls whet our appetites and titillate our taste buds!

Local traditions are honored: black pork from Bigorre, Panettone, traditional bread, Bepmale (cow’s cheese), Napoleon (sheep’s cheese made in Montréjeau), chocolate confectionery, seasonal fruits and vegetables

It is in this atypical place that 6 food artisans offer us their products: cheese maker, butcher, greengrocer, chocolate bar stand, caterer-wine merchant and artisan baker.
