Fishing in the Comminges
At a 1st or 2nd category fishing spot, you’ll enjoy the experience, whether you’re an experienced, occasional or beginner fisher, on your own or with your family. Trout, carp or predator fishing by day or by night… You’ll definitely find the best option for you!
Traditional fishing in the Comminges essentially targets brown trout, which is found in 1st-category rivers alongside minnows and gudgeons. You might also fish for white fish in one of the 2nd category rivers. In the lakes in the north of the territory, you’ll get a chance to fish predators.
The Fédération Départementale de Pêche offers specific circuits, including tourist circuits, easy and beginner’s circuits, kids’ circuits and no-kill or without-a-basket options.
